Meet Dems Candidates in Haines City 9/15/26

Polk County Republicans Are Nervous — And They Should Be

They’ve admitted it themselves:

“Democrats hold 1,977 more unreturned mail ballots than Republicans in Polk County.”

Early voting ends Saturday, and several races will be decided this Tuesday, August 18 with no November runoff.
Whoever wins Tuesday takes office.

If you still have your mail ballot, do not mail it — it may not arrive in time. Here’s what you can do:

1. Drop off your mail ballot at any Early Voting site (now through August 15, 9 AM–6 PM)

Closest to Solivita: Poinciana Fitness Center 397 Marigold Ave.

2. Vote in person on Election Day — Tuesday, August 18 (7 AM–7 PM)

Location: Solivita Ballroom Note: You cannot drop off a mail ballot here. You must vote in person. Bring a valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.).

If we vote, we win. Every ballot matters.
